10 West End is the first Class A office building constructed in approximately 20 years in the booming 394 submarket of the Twin Cities.  10 West End redefines the urban office; it checks all the boxes when it comes to attracting today’s employees and offers the best of urban office without the hassles.  The admired corporations that have chosen 10 West End benefit from flexible and efficient floor plates, modern technology infrastructure, and ample parking.  Employees enjoy the in-building amenities, including a first-class fitness center, the best rooftop terrace of any office building in the Twin Cities, a broad array of conferencing and training spaces, and an adjacent urban park.  10 West End’s premier location offers access to a wide range of transit options including buses, bike trails, and freeways while enjoying walkable amenities including restaurants, shopping, entertainment, multifamily housing, and hotels.

In 2015, The Excelsior Group, with its partner Ryan Companies, replaced the original developer after their decade-long effort to launch the project proved unsuccessful.  The Excelsior Group identified the opportunity based on its intimate knowledge of the area earned through the development of the nearby Flats at West End multifamily project and award-winning office park repositioning of the West End Office Park.  Together, The Excelsior Group and Ryan Companies navigated the unique challenges of developing a property situated in two cities and broke ground without any signed leases fueled by a collective conviction in the strength of the market.  The Excelsior Group and Ryan Companies leveraged their reputations and expertise to attract institutional investors, WhiteStar Advisors and ACORE Capital, to capitalize the construction.

The market has rewarded The Excelsior Group and Ryan companies for their efforts, expertise and courage: the Transwestern leasing team has attracted 13 premier companies that have collectively leased more than 70% of the 11-story, 345,000 square foot building within six months of construction completion.
